NYYS Community Outreach with KIPP Academy of the Bronx Begins

Michael led students at the KIPP Academy of the Bronx in an introductory conducting course. All of the students had the opportunity to lead an ensemble of NYYS students in "Ode to Joy" and excerpts from "Carmen." Michael and the NYYS students will return to KIPP several times throughout the 2017-2018 school year and beyond, strengthening the commitment of NYYS to engage with the community.
