Summer Music Education Workshop at Carnegie Hall

Mike conducts ensemble of music educators from around the world at the Weill Music Instiute at Carnegie Hall

Mike prepared an ensemble of international music educators in a four-day summer workshop at the Weill Music Institute at Carnegie Hall. Educators traveled to Carnegie Hall for seminars in connecting with young musicians from all backgrounds and skill sets, and joined together for a performance of Short Ride in a Fast Machine(John Adams) and Somewhere (from West Side Story, by Leonard Bernstein), under the baton of Marin Alsop. The orchestra was joined by a chorus of music educators prepared by Ronnie Oliver.
