 Michael conducts Baltimore Symphony Orchestra together with students from Baltimore County3/13/2018 Program includes music from Star Wars and Dvorak's Symphony no. 9, as well as Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto Michael prepares to conduct music from "Star Wars" with the Baltimore Symphony and top high school students from the area. NYYS Composition students have their pieces read and rehearsed by NYYS student-instrumentalists and professional musicians from the Dacoda Ensemble in a Side-by-Side setting.NYYS composition students had the unique opportunity to solicit feedback from the musicians, program director Kyle Blaha, and composer-mentor Aaron Jay Kernis. The pieces were recorded for the composers' portfolios and represented a wide variety of musical writing, including one spectral piece!
