Michael leads Grammy-Nominated Metropolis Ensemble, Wye Oak, and Brooklyn Youth Chorus at Symphony Space, Manhattan

New York Music Review states the "Lavish, Ambitiously Orchestrated Twinbill" was "a brand new kind of music: epic post-minimalist sweep matched to rock edge and attack."

Michael was invited to be the guest conductor for the Metropolis Ensemble on February 16th as their premiered a new song cycle by William Brittelle called Spiritual America, as well as new arrangements for orchestra, chorus, and Indie Rock duo Wye Oak. Played to a full house at Symphony Space, Manhattan, the concert was loved by traditional classical and Indie Rock lovers alike!
