New York Youth Symphony makes European Debut under Michael Repper's Baton

Four concerts to packed audiences in modern concert halls, traditional theaters, and a historical bull ring!

The New York Youth Symphony returned from its first tour of Europe - a successful collection of four concerts in Valladolid, El Escorial, Seville, and Ronda!

Repper and the New York Youth Symphony performed Theo Chandler's Electric Agitation Fanfare, which had been commissioned by NYYS in 2018 and premiered at Carnegie Hall. Also on the program was Rachmaninoff's 2nd Piano Concerto (with Fei-Fei), and Dvorak's 9th Symphony. 

Audiences demanded encores (more than one!). The orchestra obliged with its rendition of excerpts from the Carmen Suite!
